Fil Gashan - Easy flakefarming + first boss exploit : LOTRO - Submissions

After entering get to the end of the floor and pull one of the patroling orks.
There will be 3 orks coming at you! If they are down an Elite-Master is attacking you. (He can be mezzed, stunned, rootet, feared etc so he's no big deal)

Take him down and loot the armor. Now you can move around without being attacked. just loot every chest in the rooms to the left and right. There can be Mithrilflakes in it.

Now for the first boss: This works only for ranged classes (Hunters, Rk, LM)

Enter the room and hide at the side until the orks move out of the room.

After that jump on these thingys on the right wall. The adds should be in exploit now. The cook is still standing above you and can be attacked easily just go all out!

After some time he'll jump down and also be in exploit. But during his special moves he can be attacked so make sure to dish out some dmg while he's talking

(You should bring some things to remove wounds as the fireDoT can get nasty)

This earns you some flakes, a T3 relic, a medaillon and a good chance for a second age weapon (well unfortunatly its lvl60)

Since mirkwood I have yet to see a flake in ANY of those chests

the explanation seems incomplete... is he assuming you have used the chief guard uniform to get the whole party a uniform or is he soloing the instance? Maybe he is also mistaking runes for flakes? Very confusing post here.

He means do it solo.
So basically when you're alone you can run around there looting chests, flakes used to be pretty common in MoM (haven't been there since SoM) so it was a nice way to get flakes.

Done an easy 10+ runs with kin in there since SoM. 0 flakes in chests just tablets for 59 TAs. Like I said /nay

I guess turbine removed the flakes from the chests because of this. It has been known for quite a long time now
