Naegarch, in the Rath Teraig spider area, drops a sapphire shard every kill. The cycle is kill once, instant repop, kill again, 6-10 minute wait, and repeat.

Sapphire shards are selling for 100-200s on the two servers I play on. In an hour, you should score 10-15. And get your spider-slaying deed done.

I don't even know if you have to log out. I did that for about 5 shards, then the spider respawned instantly. I tried the log out, log in again and had to wait for about 10 minutes for respawn. I think if you log out right away after killing you won't have that 10 minute wait period and like garrett said you should be able to get 30-40 an hour. Also another good point is to not flood the AH with them either... this will likely bring the price down. If you see anyone else doing this talk with them and tell them to keep the buy out at 200s.

Very very easy to farm... a little harder to sell since you don't want the price going too low.... another point is because players at that level don't usually have a lot of coin so it is hard to sell say 5 at a time (assuming it is a 1g buy out).

wanted to make an update to this... the spider has another spawn point just outside the nest or den in the South Baricade. It doesn't spawn there nearly as often but if you're finding it being a long wait go check there.

confirmed. sapphire shard every time, quick respawn. I'm not even killing any placeholders, he respawns < 5 minutes every time.

That person who said about 40hour well i was tryin and i think i figured it out.... log out like you said attack the mom ... and then like 5 lil spiders come over kill them all wait like 5seconds log out log back in 1-2 mins so far everytime she has been up 6times in a row... will update this post if the spwan rate changes

IF someone else is in this area kill the spiders the spwan will not happen right away... gotta be alone and quick

This does not work any longer. THe timer has been changed. It can take hours to get a spawn.

Can another member confirm this to be nerfed.
