to be honest my eyesight is so poor that I could not play in the mines of moria so I went sideways while my friends were getting one character to 60 I got a warden and RK to the 50's (before the free exp and levels)

Now there is a slider to improve ambient lighting but I still fall to my death and oddly enough the title Blind Leaper isn't amusing to a blind person anyway even with a smidgen more light the bloody cursor is too small

having poor vision I was looking around in the accessibility options and one of the comments there led me to the control panel and some mouse options......hmmm...

start->

Pointer Options Tab

Visibility

Show location of pointer when i press the CTRL key
(ping your location, works OUTSTANDING!)

Display pointer trails
short-------------long
(will give you a better view of cursor BUT causes a little lag, and cursor has to be moving to see trail, at rest it can vanish again)

The check box show shadow didnt seem to do anything

(will NOT work in lotro but might help you elsewhere)


so even with that teeny cursor hiding in the forochel or mm snow or in the darkness of moria a push of the CTRL key or a brisk side to side of the mouse to show a little tai err trail and aha I have you now rascawly rawbbit as Elmer might say

Another way to use this in RL is

If you watch a lot of online movies for free some movie players make your cursor invisible, I've had to do ctrl alt del to get out of some well the ping your cursor trick works in this situation as well

ping your cursor and move it over what you need to click, the icon will usually darken to let you know your on it

and bam you can minimize go to full screen hit the pause button again
