VG Hacks - VGExtremeRadar v2.1 with Harvesting and Waypoints : VGExtreme Programs

Hello,

This program in fantastic. Having trouble getting just PCs to pop up on radar though. I cannot seem to seperate the NPCs from PCs on the radar, and have tried checking and unchecking different boxes on the menu. It also seems if I do not have "unknown" checked neither PCs nor NPCs will show on radar.

Has anyone else had this issues and could suggest a fix?

Hey hero, that usually happens if you have an old VGExtreme file stuck somewhere. Try deleting VGExtreme.exe and the files under includes and run UpdateVGExtreme.exe

i tried deleting the VGE*.dll and .exe and updating, and re d/l the radar zip and i still get this error as of today.

Success! VG:SOH Found ...

As far as i can tell it is in the radarharvest.vbs when it stops.

worked fine last time i used it couple days ago. dont think there has been any patch since then.

try deleting everything BUT updatevgextreme.exe. And updating.

If that still fails, i'm not sure.

I tried the deletions too, i reran and i can still run back and forth between points, but i haven't been able to actually harvest nodes yet...

ok so maybe i'm a noob bot , but i have this question about the radar.
i jsut don't know how to install it it keeps comming up with an errer message telling me that

drizuid, in your harvesting path do you have any points that have NODE at the end? Also, do you have your 1-3 hotkeys set up?

What is the difference between the two radars in the OP's post?

Version 2.1 includes waypoints and automatically downloads the POI database. Some users with slow connections may have problems using that version.

Ok, I got the little position HUD on my screen, now how do I get it to detect and display harvesting nodes? When I manually locate one, it displays the harvested node and a line to it...?

Upper left corner should be an "H" I think... click that and make sure you have the wanted resource selected there...

I have this on top:

T ! + - H W

T puts up the radar thingy
! opens up some options
+ - expands the radar thingy
H is a Harvester Bot which is empty
W not sure

It's wierd, I show Remains of nodes, and PC"s and NPC's but no harvestable nodes.

Press the "!" button and make sure you have the harvest type you need selected and press OK. If you know for sure there is a node nearby and you can't see it or if you can only see objects as little orange circles with two sets of numbers by them then you need to update VGExtreme. If all the VGExtreme components do not match the current Vanguard patch level then the radar will not know how to distinguish between different object types and marks them as unknown.

I don't know if this will help, but I keep Exhume and VGExtreme in different folders. I put VGExtreme.exe in "D:\VGExtreme" folder and execute it to grab any updates. Then unzip the radar files into that same folder. Then load the project D:\VGExtreme\VGExtremeRadar.vbs and run.

I can open up that options window, and check Reaping, Lumberjacking.... But I see NO button that says OK, or SAVE???

Is there a way to add those types of harvests by editing one of the VBS? Won't let me do it in game.
