Patch Notes 122 : DFO - General / Guide - Discussions

A new patch has been released.

Fixes and updates in this patch includes:

* New loading screen
* Mahirim male and female armor and clothing graphics have been updated
* Chat system is being fixed and enhanced.
o You can drag tabs out of the window and they will form new windows
o You can drag tabs in between windows
o All problems relating to focus on the chat window has been resolved
o Closed windows stay closed until you use the main menu chat button to bring up all the chat windows. (If there is a specific chat tab that you don't want to see, then drag it to a new window and close it).
o You will be given all the tools necessary to configure the chat system to your exact liking in a later patch.

* Several spells have been tweaked with regards to magnitude, duration, casting-time, lower reagent requirements and blocking timers:

You think they are really going to release this on time? I just seems like more work is needed.

No but I think they may actually be trying since they are working on things like the tutorial on login. Who knows. Eight days is still a lot of time if the code is already written and they just have to turn things on.

Maybe it needs alot of twinks. Id say follow blizzards policy. Delay the game. I mean people might be annoyed but more beta for people will make them happy, and on top of that the fact that when the game is released it will be great. IF the game comes out now there is a high chance it will flop. If that happens DFO will go into the realm of horizons

i def think the game will release. Just in the few past weeks i have seen them fix alot and implement alot of new code. They generally push a patch every other day at the min and sometimes 2 in a 24hr period. I have participated in many of a beta and some recents big name ones. I truly feel this game would release better than those did. However i do feel it still needs some tweaking mostly on the magic side. But they are getting close and have 8 days left. 8 days from what i have seen, to these devs, is alot of time to fix certain items and release the game.

Yea you where right. The pre orders are being done so its coming out for sure. Im still surprised as its going to need ALOT of love to be fully ready.
