Being chased by pvpers?

if there is lava/acid around and you are on or have a mount-- get on it and

go into the lave/acid.

You will take NO DAMAGE while on the mount.

why?

well the ding dongs at AV didnt like me and others like me who were knocking hard mobs into lava/acid, thereby killing the mob easily ans looting them. So they patch the implemented that mades mobs IMMUNE to lava/acid

also makes YOUR mount immune to those substances=)

Im not sure if any other exploits can be done using this, but heck I thought it was neat=P

Useful if I'm ever getting pwned on my mount near lava...

... they can just chase you...

1st off, if they arent on a mount, they will be damaged by the lava/acid

2nd-- they probably DONT KNOW ABOUT MOUNTS NOT TAKING DAMAGE-- so they wont follow you.

If they have a mount they can follow. If they have no mount they are shooting MM or Arrows at you and then swimming is not the best idea.

If they do neither then you can just ride off since you run faster.

I actually do not see any practical need for this besides cutting a few seconds while travelling.

lava and acid do hurt people. What those do not do anymore is skill up rigor and fortitude.

You can also Punt mobs into lava and they get stuck-- where you can range them down.
