What professions do you have? Knowing how to optimize the profit you make off of your professions is a good way to quickly make gold.

Well, if you don't care about having engineering or whatever it is you have, I suggest going mining and Skinning, because people sell leather hides and such for alot in the AH and same with copper, silver, and gold bars. It's good for money, you just have to sacrifice your extra trade skill instead of having say engineering or alchemy or blacksmith.
