Just Started : World of Warcraft General Discussions

I just started WoW tonight (im still going to play KO, just thought to try something new)

im going to be playing on the Anetheron server i guess (it just sent me there)

anyone play on that server?

and what's up with this queue?

Take other server with recommended / Medium population and take a pvp server pref i luv my 60 druid but simply dont play him anymore cuz its pve server ( first char i made )

Hey ace I play anetheron. Right now I'm only level 10 though. The queues don't really start until 4:00 PM server time (and it's a EST server so that's good for me)
Aces high almost all new servers have queues.

Go horde definitely and send a whisper to Rabid. I've got a couple RL friends on the server too.

Any server that doesnt say FULL next to it will be good for ya. Preferably a newer server so that there are plenty of lower level guys like you to play around with

i DEFINATELY suggest playing on a PVP server for all your time spent in this game will be much more rewarding and fun if you do.

btw, both our computers are downloading this new 1.10 patch at like .25 mb every 5 minutes.. is that because theres so many other people patching at the same time as us or what?

Dunno but I get mine from Fileplanet which is a lot faster.

lol after that new patch no realms are showing up for me to join...

STARTING AT 2 PM PST, 5 PM EST, BLIZZARD WILL BEGIN OPENING REALMS INDIVIDUALLY OVER THE TIMESPAN OF 2 HOURS. THE ORDER IN WHICH THE SERVERS WILL BE BROUGHT UP IS UNKNOWN.

Welcome to World of Warcraft! I recommend you take skinning/herbalism/mining (Divide amongst yourselves) Skinning is EASY money. If you need any help, I'll make a toon on the server and guide ya through your problems. Never sell hides from skinning to merchants, put em in Auction House at 10s bid, 15s buyout. If you don't edit the bid, most people will bid on em and get em at like 3s a stack. Lol.
