Horde Pallys and Alliance Shaman : World of Warcraft General Discussions

With the release of Burning Crusades all those hordies who dont want to make an alliance character get their chance at a Horde Pally. Thats right. And the same goes for alliance with shaman

Meh, not a great idea, though they could have tripped up much worse. The fact that they havn't publically announced it my mean it isn't final.

Great. HOw could blizzard do such a stupid stunt this makes me want to switch to a non PvP server

at blizzcon they kinda sorta told us this would be happening

What this sucks, i don't want stupid paladins and i sure as heck don't want alliance to hace shamans

i dont think its a bad idea. I think it will help level off the battle grounds too. Now no one can complain that horde have two classes with flag running capabilities (Druid ans SHaman)

i guess your right there, but still i liked it when they had something we didn't and we had something they didn't, if they complain about not have two flag running capabilities then they should give paladins i don't know something like "Speed of Light" and have it be like a 50% speed increase

They have increased mount and running speed for a talent. And speed of light would be stupid honestly.

The problem that most alliance have is shamans can travel faster as a default power and also have the Earth bind totems to drop and snare the flag bearer for long enough to get him with some other slowing effect that is more permanant. As an alliance I find it annoying.

I guess you don't realize the benefit of having a Paladin on Horde side and the biggest reason for it: PVE progression.

For almost two years, the Horde have always had a harder time with almost every single boss in raid zones. Shamans were built for offensive support, and Paladins were built for defensive support. While Shamans can give 10 mana every 2 seconds to group members within 20 yards of a totem, a single Paladin could give a 33 mana per 5 second buff to every single priest, druid, shaman, and Paladin in 4 spells and it lasts 15 minutes.

If you want to see more examples of Paladins being more useful, just look up some boss guides.

And why would anyone complain about Windfury + Blessing of Might + Blessing of Kings? ^^

I have never done any instances as a horde since i usually stop playing after i get stuck in Barrens/Norris chat.

I bet having Pallys will help Horde tons in PVE because I know they are very usefull in Aalliance if not for anything but Lay on Hands.

And Shaman will help alliance with PVP.
I think this might help settle the PVE vs PVP problems of both factions

Man you know Speed of Light would be awesome, cause it makes sense, doesn't it?

Not really cuz then holy priests should get it too and it'd be too childish and make people hate paladins more. Plus speed of light would be a LOT faster.
