PVP Nightmare : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Ok I have to say that I rolled PVP because I thought it would be fun at later levels. Which it was when I got to my first 60. But now that the server has aged and there are tons of 60s and twinks, I entered Strangletorn with my newly created 34 mage.
Well what happens within 5 minutes of me entering the zone than i get ganked by a level 40 and a level 60. I do my best to try and get away but i cant hope for anything. After I escape that I go to a relatively untraveled area of STV. There I come across a level 30 horde. Now I know what it feels like to be ganked. I waved to him passed him and went on killing. He ignored me and I ignored him until 5 minutes later a level 60 comes around and decideds hes board. So now that the 30 sees he can kill me he jumps in on the fray.
Well I figure I will try getting help from alliance because the 60 was camping me. I tell them and the response I get is "Its PVP deal with it or roll PVE"
Is it just me or are Alliance players just to lazy to help lower levels out.
I also saw a level 60 GNOME warlock run by me as I was getting attacked by a level 50+horde.
So they did inspire me to leave the realm. Now maybe I will make a horde character on that server alone and go ganking all lowbies

So does anyone else feel something needs to be done about the ganking of lowbies

You should come to Uldaman, as horde, wel always help each other out lol.. there were 2 alliance killing people in Crossroads 2 days ago, within minutes 20 people showed up, all 40+, let the killing commence

Yeah that seems to be the general consenses. Horde will help their kin. Alliance will tell them they should have rolled PVE

I have to say that I play alliance and I sadly have to agree with you guys. I dont know what the difference is but for some reasone horde players seem to work together better where as alliance seem to never care. All I can say is that it seems like you were frustrated and we all get that way when we are trying to lvl/quest and the ganking happens. Then again STV has always been ganktopia.

Its because of Zul'Grub.
Everyone whose waiting for their raid to start sits there and ganks alliance.
Oh well it happens. I guess I know to roll Horde on PVP and Alliance on PVE

from experience horde is WAY more helpful than alliance, and that could be because the horde is usually outnumbered, and the alliance just dont give a crap

I bet that is why horde ususally wins in BG, it is because horde work together and alliance don't care so they don't do their best, and all this time alliance is whining about not winning at BG but really it is them that is causing them to lose

EDIT: And jmd419 you should roll a horde on my server, in my guild we are always willing to help a ganked horde out, well maybe not my guild but i am

Well I now have my guild support. I left a guild on my main when i transfered servers, but then I PMed them this morning and got back in it on my alt. Some of the higher levels owe me for saving thier !@#$%^&*.
Tho I still miss logging out my 60 right near where I am with my alt then when i get back logging in as him and beating the ganker down myself. To bad i cant do that

Lol, i would love to do that, i would find a way to show the ganker that it was me he ganked and now it is me he is getting ganked by

i did it to an undead hunter. Sat there and camped his corpse until he finally got away 10 kills later.
I hope he figured it out since my mage disappeared then my warrior appeared within 5 feet of my mage 20 seconds later

Haha, That would be so much fun, afterwards you shoulda chases him down with your mage and see if he would attack you again

well, if you come to kel'thuzad, be alliance with me, cause we do alright, and lots of people help there...horde arent 100% about ganking (althought STV is the worst zone to be in if you dont want to be ganked) and in bg's if somone is a good commander (like myself =D ) then people do work together....

My Cousin has a 60 on Kel'Thuzad, and aparrently alliance is doing awesome in AV rightnow

Alliance never do awesome in AV

....something is wrong on that server then....alliance, workling together and winning, why they might be learning!
