it says an error 2 has occured any advice much appreciated or instructions on how 2 fix it....

the last disk wont download plz help this is a brand new comp if that makes a difference

Download it from another site then. Download it without the keys. Just get the file from fileplanet.com or i think maybe worldofwarcraft.com

im not downloading it from asite im downloading it fom the discks cuz i got a new comp last nite

ok i tried again and it says

the file "Files/Data/Interface/Cinnematics/WOW/_Intro_1024.avi in archive could not be opened, because an error 2 occured. If this problem persists plz contact blizz tech support (MPQFile::open from archive)

Looks like you got damage on your disc, if you still want to play you'd better download it.

buy a new game to have an extra set of keys laying around incase you need it. borrow from a friend, or download the cd's. we can not say where to download it if you go by cd's for some legal reason but its not hard to find

Lol you can just download it from the internet. The client!
You don't need to use cd's. Try doing it with files instead of cd's and see if that helps. It should.

it says its a trial but as long as you allready have an account you can still get the whole game .

Tho i wouldnt download anything if i was you becuase if you need ot format your comp or whatever you will need to download the files again ( or have a good memory stick ) from what you said it looks like your disks might be faulty. BUT you did say you got a new pc have u checked the spec ask yourself Do you have the memory ? Have you got a graphics card ? is the pc second hand is it an old model? Hope it all works for you mate.

I had a problem like this. I ran defraged and scanned my C-drive. Then the install worked perfectly.
