What do you hate about WoW : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Well for me its the character leveling system thier really is no Options you stat points are spent for you If i want to be a tank with less damg ill put stats in Stanima and Str more custom class builds = a more challenging game play.

2. Attack System if you have played RYL2 then you knw where im coming from I like actually attacking my Target instead of clicking on them and it auto attacks Adds less skill to the game i want to swing my weapon myself.

3. PVP system is fun but I want to see more people PVPING outside of WSG and other places im tired of killing people while thier hunting or running to another place and WSG can get old if all you have is nubs on your team who want to be the hero... and Run off.

4. Armors and Such Ok dont get me Wronge but the armors look badass but lets say im a rouge i dont wanna w8 till 60 to get some armor that is DARK and scarey kinda im tired of seeing leather armor Being purple or bright blue and armor being all discolord add a Dying system to the game or add more class Specified armors thier 2 little of them. 2nd most of the armor until 60 looks like its your players skin it is like a second layer of skin and doesnt stick out exept for shoulders. Tabbards Yea ok decent idea but why not tabbards for lower class guild and Capes for the higher class guilds.

5. Guilds kinda = a little bit useless exept for raids and and item and Sometimes help. I wanna see TOP ranked guilds owning castles or having thier own guild halls to gather and can defend them or have them taken over by opossing guilds.

6. Honor is a good thing but people dont get reconized for it i would like to see a List IN GAME on highest ranking PVP players on hourde/alliance side.
And maybe King for a week where he gets Taxs from the vendors and AH.

7. Controlled areas Like hourde/Alliance can take over lands and such in the Contested areas where u can fly to or such and such.



Post what you dont like.

Some of these, didn't read the whole thing as i'm busy, just simply aren't do-able. Like if you swung yourself it'd create too much lag.

As for the pvp system, just go raid yourself get a group together =P i did that all the time.

Guilds aren't really useless they're very useful. Good for people to help you and raids are a big part of the game. Plus many guilds pvp.

As for honor they have a list on WoW.com that many people look at.

Im all about PVP only reason i actually play MMORGPS. i played Maple story for 3 hrs then found out thier was no pvp and quit i see no point if thiers no good PVP and no swinging your weapon would not create ne lag if you ever played RYL2 or even RYL1 you would most likley agree with me.

Wtf swing your own weapon? That's so UBER boring, pressing a button all the time to make a swing, what if you go like MC and have to click a button 4 hours long..

And for the guilds, guilds are made for fun and to get to know ppl and go end-game with them.

Take over contested areas would be unfair, bcus when a lowbie tries to lvl in like Ashenvale, but he can't bcus some lvl 60s wanna take it over.

King for a week==>No way, imba.
In-game list for highest rank takes too much memory I think, update every week..

Ppl don't PvP outside bcus it's simply dumb. In battlegrounds there are 400% more ppl than you would find in just the world to kill and get honor from.

And for the armors, it's hard to design over 1000 types of armor, that's why not everything is "cool".

I agree with the stat system though, that's the only nice thing you say here imo.

No but, the swing system wouldn't work, due to the lag people already get, you could implement it, but that'd make battles even LESS SKILL and more just your computers connection.

While i do say a pvp system like that would be more fun it doesn't work with online games as well, especially if you're playing in 3rd person. Plus that'd bring in more hacks for swinging.

When you say like an attack system where you swing yourself you mean a halo-like battle type?

Aim hacks would no doubt be brought in and as stephan said you're wrist would die in instances.


And as for what I hate about WoW? Well, if they had player housing i'd start playing again.

You got the swinging ur weapon so messed up so i take it none of u have ever played RYL2 you click a buttton and hold it so it swings your sword then move mouse to aim it.

2nd uber boring i guess you dont like challenging gameplay and are to simple minded.

Now for taking areas over taking certain bases in areas and controlling them would take over the contested area not taking all players out of an area and as far as 60's killing you I rarely get killed by level 60's even when im at level 40-49 they dont even bother.

Also the fact 6 differnt monsters can attack you but u can attack 1 at a time or use a Aoe skill. Witch is why the Swing you own weapon helps with this idea. Two Handed swords can hit multiple enemies and so can polearms and 2 handed axes.

I never said it world pvp was dumb, i always liked it more than BG's.

About the swing your own weapon idea, I may be wrong but from talking about it before (i always thought it was a good idea) people had told me it'd stress the servers too much.

And no i don't know what you're talking about with the RYL2 and swinging your own weapon but i'm guessing it's somewhat like Halo or Half-Life?



Oh and yeah like i said before blizzard had told us they were putting in player housing but it's never been done and i'd always looked forward to that. If you've ever played SWG you realize how cool it is.

Yeah but I never took advantages in the fights =P. Plus auto-aim hacks made me angry when i played Battlefield 2.

I'm not really sure what my stance is on hacks that give players unfair combat advantages against other players. Speed hacks are cool with me as long as they aren't used against other people (that totally killed Stick Arena).

I think that the game would totally kill if there was player housing and also guild castles and stuff like that, everything else is not that bad and i think its a VERY solid game, but player housing and guild castles would pwn

Yeah but with the player housing, isn't this World Of Warcraft? I mean (BTW I havent played SWG but did play FF online) having player housing could work but, knowing blizzard, would probably screw it up.
Also, guild castles would own and, like CoV, there could be seiges.

P.S. didn't blizz say they were bringing in seige weapons a while back?

2. If you swung your weapon yourself it would get way way to boring sitting there, click........click.......click........click...(think about rogues) click,click,click,click,click, all in one second, rogues would be much much easier to kill.

3. Adventure, don't wait for PvP to show up in Ironforge or Orgrimmar, cause chances are, you'll be waiting there for about half a year to a year for a raid.

4. There are more important things to get done in WoW then people wanting to look pretty in pink, and it would cause more disconnecting with all the lag it would bring. Also, if there were capes then what would happen to the Back Piece? eh? I would much rather have a statless tabbard at level 60 then a statless cape replacing a very very usefull one

5. No, Just No, guild towers and guild halls? No, what is wrong with just meeting up in Orgrimmar? and it is much funner to attack Ironforge then to attack an empty guild tower with a sign on the door saying "Out To A Raid" Be Back In A Few Hours"

6. Hit the Windows Icon while in game, go to internet, address bar, type www.worldofwarcraft.com look down the column on the right, find your server and your faction, there ya go, have fun. and Taxes? no that wouldn't be a good idea.

7. No, I myself have favorite PvP areas and if it got taken over by Alliance, I would be pissed, so now I couldn't run up to a level 59 mage, and hamstring him then beat the mana out of him, I would think about a faction transfer just for the area (not really tho)


And yes I agree it would bring more hacks, and yes i obviously see im in a hack site right now, but it would be much easier for people to find out the information to use weapon speed hack themselves.

Hmm about the first comment linkzx said you'd hold it down instead of clicking each time.

And Blizzard promised us player housing but we've yet to recieve it yet. Apparently when we do get it though it'll be in places like that closed portal in SW
