The problem with satellite is the upstream. Typically you have around a 6-7 second latency. So basically if you hit cast spell in WoW it will happen around 6 seconds later .... I dont recommend it. Youll get better service playing on Dialup believe it or not. Just download the patches and updates etc at school or a library near by

how could i download the patches at a library?? i have heard of a deley but the delays ive heard are about .256 sec not 5-6. i played diablo online with it and found that it was actualy not that bad, will WoW be the same ?

Well I guess it depends on area and company and such. Only satellite experience I had was horrible. I guess to download the update WoW would have to be installed and then you could burn the update to a CD and copy it to your game folder

Lol good luck nokoshu. I couldn't imagine life without broadband. Well, I have lived without it but it's much more enjoyable with it.
