41-55 Fast : World of Warcraft General Discussions

So I rolled another alt, was going through my normal routine of dual boxing myself through instances using a friends mage. I just finished a run through ZF and dinged 41. I quit for the night and went to bed with a thought of trying Maura the next day to see how xp was.

The next day I tried a Maura run, xp was awful, too many non-elites. Then I thought why not try and see if a 41 can get in to BRD. About 10 hours later I was lvl 55 just clearing up to and including ring of law; and sometimes some side rooms to kill time so i didn't get locked out by going too fast.

AOE grind like mad the first big room and then hit the ring of law keeping your lowbie by the gate, at 52 I was rockin' the full gladiator set. I also de'd a ton of loot.


If this is old news, sorry. But it sure surprised the hell out of me.

41 - 55 in 10 hours.... I don't think thats possible.

dont knock it until somebody actually tries it. Ill try to use my friends char to give this a shot once i get up there.

I'm going to be testing it out tonight when I get home from work. My friend just dinged 41 in SM, so hopefully this is as good as advertised.

I could safely tell you after getting to 60 in 3 days of /played, that this isn't possible, most likely about 14 hours at the lowest -> 20 hours maximum for experienced players not 10, this is taking to account that you don't run into the opposite faction who are ganking for the day.

You can "whatever" and "safely say" all you want, it doesn't change the fact.

Try this, you'll get massive xp and every time you ding, you'll start getting more xp per kill so it scales nicely.


The only problem doing this is that my shaman is stuck at lvl 62 while I run guildies through BRD. Just try it. If it helps I can list all the gear and spec of my friends mage.

I will try this later today, my friend has a 70 mage, 70 hunter, and 70 warrior.

What spec was your mage, just curious.

Also, I'm about lvl 51, think it will still give me some good exp?

And all I have to do is stand at the door and I will get exp? I've never done anything like this before, always followed around whoever was running me through.

He is 18/0/43 decently geared alt wearing Kara,TK heroic and Aldor rep stuff.

If your alt can heal the 70 you should be able to pull a bit more at a time as well.

At 51 iirc I was getting about 290xp per kill with about 15-20 mobs per pull. We tried bringing in another alt at one point that was a few lvls lower than mine and it did cut the xp a bit but was still very worthwhile. We also brought in another 70 which cut the xp in half pretty much. I haven't tried 4 40-somethings and a 70 yet to see if group xp would help.
