Just been banned..or have I? : World of Warcraft General Discussions

didn't get any email or whispers or anything saying I've been banned, but logged in with a character and blammo up comes a message saying my account has been CLOSED.

I've bought about 3000g, which sounds a lot, but isn't really nowadays.

Any tips for getting my account back or is this permanent. I have no idea if it's a ban or suspension.

Those who said buying gold is "safe" were obviously lying. I'm on an EU realm which I thought was a little safer as I heard the GM's were a bit...rubbish.

only way to find out is email blizzard or wait 3 days to see if you account comes open again.

"Temporarily suspended" = Temp ban
"Closed" = Permanent ban

Check your mailbox.
You do have a 'slim' chance if you appeal, say your realy sorry and alota BS say you wont do it again beg for a 2nd chance, and pray. You may get your acc. back, i didnt know gold buying was such a serious crime though. Imo 3day suspension, delete the gold, at max.

Then you get 3 days off of wow and got screwed over for 3000 gold, and then causing the gold company problems.

(happened to me LONG ago when i sued to buy gold)

I still have wow glider rofl, one problem though.

Its saved in a password protected ZIP folder on my jump drive from like over a year ago, and i dont remember the password, and dont feel like buying a decrypter for it.

You didn't use this program in the past though did you? Because this is a 'SERIOUS' offense now

I got banned for SB tradeing and then i made a thread on forums and the admins started dishing trash out at me so i turned it against them and how they should be behaving then the leader or whatnot of WOW came and said that my chances where slim and respects the fact that i pointed out how admins wer heaving (i had Screnies) therefore i got a second chance.
