Recently I've been having some trouble installing WOTLK on my laptop, I tried some stuff to fix it but didn't have any luck, I keep getting this particular message at 98% when it goes from lichking.MPQ to "Cleaning up"

The file "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\World of Warcraft.lnk.temp" could not be renamed to "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\World of Warcraft.lnk". If this problem persists, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (ConflictManager::ResolveConflicts/1)
The file "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\World of Warcraft.lnk.temp" could not be deleted. (ConflictManager::UncreateObjects)

Found it online i believe.
Ha, I had same problem. When installer renames files just shut down application(ctrl+alt+del -> applications). Then just rename all files and folders.

I actually found another solution to it (about five minutes after I posted the topic :P) I just copied LichKing from my disk drive onto my desktop and ran it from there, worked like a breeze :P thanks though.
