shammys could easily own, all they need to do is not let the hunters run, use earthbind totem, searing totem and shocks, fire first, then earth and keep doing it. If you get in trouble use frost shock and heal (frost shock so the hunter cant run)

On my hunter I kill mostly every shaman (not the ones full epic, I'm still blue). I just begin the fight with freezing trap. Once they're in the trap I stand at maximum range and perform Aimed Shot. They frostshock as fast as they can and then I use my insignia of the horde which removes the slowing effects and run away with aspect of cheetah and let my pet kill the shaman and shoot a little myself. This will only work if you have the imp range talent

yea hunters do own a bit, but if they get stuck in combat then goodbye!

hunters r all rite in combat... the bonus from strength+agi and the fact of mail armor rises them to a pretty high threat in mele to me....and their annoyin pets but i guess it depends on gear talent build skill lvl weapns and enchants but they can easily be fit to take on the role of a unique dps

same is true for shammys w/o pet but + a lot of spells and kool totems so....

hunters rnt very good in combat i dont think, they alright, but of course alot better longe range. Shammys however are better close, they pwn with there shocks and annoying totems, best stratergy against rogues is earthbind, searing, frost shock, attack then run back to totems, fire shock, attack, run back to totems, earth shock, attack, run, repeat, if done right rogues only get one or two hits in =P

dont know why i said that but yea, that strategy also works with warrior, but not hunters... lol!

The sad part is that shamans are horde and not alliance, making it impossble for a shaman and u to meet in PvP with fair grounds (considering u have insignia of the horde which make u horde)

and, all shamans arent enchantment specc...
