I have a buzzard from redridge. You have to get a buzzard from Westfalls first(near river) to get screech, then let it go and get the red one. The only abilities I gave him were screech, growl, and bite. I cannot pull aggro off of him. He eats anything also. Took the extra points not used in getting claw and bumped up armor and health.

On my hunter I use the worg from BRS lower. Although it sucks to have to relevel him he has the highest level howl wich gave me the ability to oneshot this shaman in alterac wearing the pvp honor set. Now I'm not bragging because he has blues, but that set has a lot of stamina and armor.

I like the cat types also... They are just cool. Frostsabers are fun.

i say cats, best pvp pet, most dps and most people dont bother killing them so just run and let pet kill em works 50% of the time but works 100% of the time killing them

IMO cats/raptors (bats?) are best because in PVP, your OP isn't gonna attack your pet.

I saw (in razorfen Krauk or what ever that instance closest to 1k) a bat (eilte) that I could tame, and the bat had massively good stats, you should check it out!

P.S. Hasn't Blizz announced Custom pets are coming soon/expansion?

I like fast based pets so you can be slow but your pet can make up for it
