LMAO, this is hilarious.

I quit WoW probably 3-4 months ago (after playing it for a week and not cheating at all), and then last week, I got an email saying:

Your account has been disabled for violating the Terms of Service Agreement, Article (??), Section (??). Your account password has been reset, and the credit card has been removed from the account.

I was sitting at my desk thinking, "Wow, these guys are idiots... But wait, could something have happened to my account? Could it have been stolen while I wasn't playing it?"

So I proceeded to check my account, and lo and behold, the password wasn't changed yet, the character's level was the same, everything was the same...

So after clarifying that the WoW staff is retarded, I went onward to replying with an email saying how retarded they were.

You do realize I deactivated the account and removed the credit card close to 4 months ago, don't you? How could I have possibly been banned/suspended during a period of time where I wasn't playing the game? Not only have I never used a single cheat on this game, I don't even play it, yet you're telling me I'm suspended for violating Terms that I never actually violated?! Please reply fast, because I don't like where this is going.

I didn't say that exactly, but it was very close to that (in a nicer way) and no, I never cheated for it, which is strange as hell...

They replied:

We have strong evidence to state that your account was under the control of someone not authorized to use it. The account has been deactivated and the password has been reset. Please follow the instructions below to regain control of your account.

~Wow Staff Administration

I laughed for a good 30 minutes, then replied to that:

If it was under the control of someone else, how the heck is it possible that my character is in the EXACT same spot I left it in, with the EXACT same items it had? Can't you just admit you're wrong or would that constitute the idea of "weakness" in your organization if you admit to a wrongdoing? Oh, I see... You're trying to imitate the Bush Administration, I get it... And yes, I checked my character within 30 seconds of receiving that email at work, and I know the email I got to start this annoying conversation was incorrect for a fact.

And I'm still waiting for a reply to that which I'll post when I get it. Been 4 days now, so I don't think they want to answer that question LMAO

Eh, I had a deactivated account with nothing on it (I had dreams but never followed through), about 3 months after that, I got an e-mail warning me, then the next day, telling me I had been temporarily banned and the password changed.

The guy who had taken the account had a credit card setup on it, and has been paying for it for 3 months since then... not sure why hes paying for it lol.
