I have collected a lot of info from the web to try and make this the best guid i can make.
this guid is a guid to how to make Fire Ores, which sale for a very good amount of gil.

First off let me give you some links:
http://www.ariah.curiouss.com/ - she has made a lot of ore and she has 13 months of experience with making ores( she has few posts on allakhazam in the fire ore section).

http://www.swapsonian.com/pikko/ - this is Pikkos webtise she works for allakhazam and she explains on how to start with gurdening if you ever heard that you can make some thing with Gardning that is the place to check it she made almost every thing possible there is to make.

I will give the main points on what you need to do to get a good harvest:

1)Use porcelain pots to grow Fire ore with brass you will have better chance but with brass you will only harvest after 2 months you will get more ores on the long run with porc pots.

2) Examining 2 times a day.

3)When you feed the fire crystal feed it only on firesday.

4)Examine while wearing the harvesting gear(all but the hands they will not help you).

5)Put in your mog house 22 maple tables(you can put that many in your mog house if you don't trust me go on to Ariah site(first link)).

6) Try to time a full moon with FFXI Timer (link above),try to time 21days.

7)Harvest from san d'Oria.

Plant on Darksday.
