BLM Nerf : FFXI General Discussions

Black Mages are most likely to be nerfed by SE, it is being discussed. They are probobly going to turn up mob elemental resistance to make it so Manaburns will be eliminated. SE says its not how we are supposed to play the game because if we manaburn we get exp faster, get all jobs to 75 faster, and thus get board and quit their game faster. >.< SE is nuts targeting botters and completly ignoreing well known gillsellers, especially JP ones. I siriously hope XBox 360 has its own servers >.>;

Ummm, i'm not sure which magic fairy you get your info from, but the SE event that I think you're trying to quote, said they are looking into ways to balance BLM, as it has been "To strong" from the start. Nothing has been set into motion, and considering they have an expansion, and a new launching platform to work on, something tells me we'll hear info long before it ever gets implemented.

i remember i saw it being mentioned somewhere. I think it was www.somepage.com, citing the info from another source. It was an interview with SE tho.

I also read the interview not on alla (i avoid it like the plague) not sure the link but the interview seemed to be origional although someone could edit it if they choose to. in thread it said they are looking into ways to make blm more balenced cause its been to powerful. weather its true or not i dont know and wont till se actually does it. If i do come across the link i found it at i will post.
