1) Fight a mob that casts fear.
2) When you are feared walk backwards while fighting.
3) You will remain in the same spot while fighting and not run away.
4) Wasnt sure if this was an exploit or good trick since im sure they will nerd the movement of fear if they find out about this.

another copy and paste I love it, and on the other forums I also corrected this..

Say you have something like the whisper cast addon, its say's what a person or mob is about to cast, so you can see like "Onyxia begsin to cast bellowing fear" at that moment you start to back up, and you will be 'feared' in place.

This actually does work. Back when i wasnt banned from wow =/ i hunted in Eastern Plaguelands and the plaguebats there feared me all the time. So, to not get adds, i would run in circles backwards around the mob. Then, when it did fear me, it would deselect my target and stop attacking but i wouldnt move most of the time. So this is somewhat useful in not getting adds, specially when u try to gank a priest or warlock.

Nerfed last week.
I used this all the time, ony, mags, pvp, and anything else that feared. Best way to do it for melee was rock back and forth inside the hit box. Anyone know if the aspect of the cheeta still works (fear dazes instead of fears). All our hunters respec'd BM, so I haven't gotten any AotC in about a week now :(
