Required
1 Counj with High lvl pet.
1 Healer with good heals Fury is good.
Access to the Menagerie in everfrost. One player only.
Min lvl would be about 45 for each player.

Buff up.
Fury gives group invis.
Zone in to the Menagerie.
Do not attack any thing.
go through the right doors.
Stand in left hand corner near the door entrance.
Use pet to kill 49^^ MOB just let pet get agro and heal only until mob power is our then nuke it>
When mob is dead Fury Group invis.
Then while invis open the 4 Chest in the room Mobs ma pop but will not agro as invis is on.
In one of the chest there is a scroll collect it and read it.
Leave he room still invis and cross over to the room opposite.
Open the door and enter still invis.
Examine the cube in the room.
Leave room and turn left to the next set of doors.
Enter this room (do not go to far in)

Move to the right wall keeping your distance from the guy at the lecturn.
He has Ice commet end will floor you with one cast.

Now the tricky bit.

Send the pet and stay back and just heal, wait for the pet to get full agro and then heal.

when this dude dies he leaves a master check which contains rubies and an other item that is random.

If you want you can read the spell book the kill the manticor, 2 other also pop with it so get behinf the spell book to avoid adds.

The Manticor drops a master chest also but with only one item which is normally jewlery.

I have done this instace abot 30 time and had a ruby drop on all but one occasion. I got a Master 1 instead.

And as there is only 2 of you you can share the Loot.

Re timer on zone is 18 Hours once you start the fight with the Spell book Dude.

Else if you die you can zone out and re-set it, to try again.

I have done this zone many times myself, and master chests are still rare here. But it is a good zone to farm tho, besides the 18h lockout.

Farm this zone every day for a 1.5 month but was only 1 master drop:( Some time common chest but with ebon or ruby

ive done this zone probably 15 times and have not seen a master chest once. you must have some insanely awsome luck.

you can do the same thing with icespire instance in EF too

Is there anyway a necro can do this with their pet?

good idea...but what game are you talking about?
Enchanters dont get pets in eq2.....
the evil chanters get a charm spell that is worthless IMO.
Did you mean mage or necro?....true pet classes!

I do this zone all the time with invis....only seen 1 master chest =(
zone is worthless IMO.

I do this zone on a daily basis...actualy I hit EVERY master drop chance short incstance in the game everyday.

You just had mad luck.

Today, with the lvl60 cap this is very easy.
at lvl59 you can easily cross the zone and kill the two nameds
