what is the macro for this? : FFXI General Discussions

hi there, i had read a topic about using macros to make it so that you attack then disengage your target and attack again for fast attacking, but i can't find that topic anywhere, can someone tell me the macro for it?

btw i'm using a lance delay is 492

o.o; well i could make u a macro that does that.. but dont think it will make u attack fast..

This was not patched. I still use this. You have to use this macro right as you swing your weapon:
/attackoff <t>
/wait 1
/a <t>

and if you time it right it works but sometimes it says "You must wait longer to perform that action."

I have been giving thought to doing some skillups on some two handed weapons - I will give this a try and post back.

Confirmed - I used the Hardwood Katana 450 delay
Right when your character begins to strike you pop the macro.

im using a 502 delay axe , i dont see very much of adifference, if there is one at all

people have been doing this with high delay weapons for a very long time now ^^ If it has been patched as of last night ... i'm not aware of it yet. Its a lot of button mashing but it gets the job done and you do notice a slightly faster attack speed ... cuts time down by about 25%
