Soloing BCNM 20, Horlais Peak (Premium? Heh, I wish...) : FFXI General Discussions

Well, I saw something else about the BCNM 'Charming Trio,' and figured that I may as well post my use of 20 seals. As long as you have a SMN lv 20, with Ramuh, then you're set. If not, get this. Like said in the Charming Trio BC thing, Mann. Heads are 100% drop, and that's not bad at all for something that goes for 300k+
First, get all your SMN 20 gear for this BC, a few Yag drinks, a few Hi-Ethers, and stuff to stop interruption (Hermits Wand, Heko Obi+1, whatever.) After this, it's pretty much soloing the Prime avatars, but this time you get gil.

Run in, summon Ramuh, have a drink, assault **Make sure you get the middle one** hit two hour, Judgement Bolt, run back to where you can still see ramuh's HP, use a Hi-Ether, then when Ramuh dies, recast and repeat.
Easy BCNM for something soloable, and if you get lucky, can get you near a million gil (if the ThunderSpirit Pact and Mann. Body drop, as well.)

I haven't tried this BCNM myself, but soloing is possible. I know a SMN who attempted this one and almost died. Soloing is a possibility, but you really need to know what you're doing. Your timing needs to be right on time and not a millisecond off. Not only does your strategy has to be sharp, but your equipments, food, and meds. You can't really have gimp gear if you're going to solo or else your full potential won't unleash.
