No fish? : FFXI General Discussions

I've been reading some posts and someone suggested that you can only fish up to 200 fish a day. Is that true? I've been having huge problem with fishing lately.. always got disconnected in between, and after that I will get no catch for quite a while. Can someone enlighten me with some real facts? Thanks!

You can only catch a certain amount of fish per day, how many depends on what you're fishing but moat carps seem to wear out your daily ratio after 200 fishies.
I suggest you read a guide on titanictus.com on fishing, this place isn't all that great for serious fishing information.
