Rdm/nin VS genbu @.@ video : FFXI General Discussions

I am downloading this atm and will edit my post once i watch it. Video is of him killing genbu... wow is all i can say lol.

Yeah, that rdm's good. Believe he's soloed the platoon scorps, a -Xarca NM and among all things, Genbu.

Not impressed

Red in Ifrit are known for Soloing BCNM NM and anything else. Takes forever but it is very easy.

Cast DD Shield
Refresh/ Stoneskin/ Phalanx/ Nin blink/

For DD
Dia 2/ any debuffs you want/ regular attacks/ Nuke/ Convert / Then Repeat

NM will eventaully Give up or You will Fluck it Up and Die not very impressive at all, just Smart!

Yeah, i don't know many HNM's that are weaker than Genbu, he's basically the easiest god of them all.
Yet even Kirin doesn't compare up to most HNM's like tiamat or fafnir etc. From personal experiences,
Genbu is like the most pathetic God in all of sky! No need to even get tp up before fight as half his magic
is interupted and he hit's the PLD tank about 2-4 times (if the turtle is lucky) during the whole 5-10
minute fight lol

But still if you can solo stuff like this good job! If you're lucky enough to get claw drop easy 8 mil.

Sky gods in general have really let me down You may think this is weird but its true. I got sea access before sky (68whm) I was in an alliance+ that killed Jailer of Temperence before I saw sky. ( was offer 100k for come help heal by JP's )

I've never faught Tiamat yet, (not in HNMLS, in a SKY/SEA Gods LS), but when I hear it takes 3 full alliances to take down JoL, I'm looking forward to it. People use to think it took 2 alliance to take down Kirin too. I need to find me a good JP Sea LS lol. My LS is still far from taking JoL on.

Also I just said I was not impressed since I already had heard of someone doing it. Not saying what the person did was not good. He is smart and a very good player. Many of them around.


People Fart all the time. Though some are spectacular you are not going to be impressed by them all the time.

Ignoring the bit about fake quotes, that rdm is insane. He has absolutely no life outside ffxi, and seems to not mind spending hours fighting something like that.

He took down the Dynamis-Xarcabard time extension boss too apparently. Marquis Orias > Genbu (even > Byakko and the other, reasonably strong sky gods). He lost loads of xp doing so though (reraise hairpins etc... Die, nuke, die......Crazy)

He's a very good player though, and his KSNM/ENM/BCNM solo videos own.
