Save your collection quests! Don't turn them in!! : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

I just caught wind from a reliable source that the new AA system will work partially off of COLLECTION QUESTS. I'm not sure exactly how, but I'll give you the same advice that was given to me.

if you complete a collection quest, don't turn it in yet. Wait until you get KOS later this month.

its still not clear if the AA xp is going to be retroactive or not. Theres a good chance that your xp will be caluclated up to the current point. Heres how you earn AA XP:
Collection Quests
Total number of quest completed
Named mobs killed
Exploration
"Items" (not sure exactly what that refers to- Im guessing its looting legendaries, but no idea, really).
Levels gained.

been almost a week since I logged into beta, and thats from memory, so I might have missed one, but that gives you an idea of what to look forward to. I would also assume that those things will no longer give normal XP, although I could be mistaken about that. Easy enough to check, however.

To give you a rough idea- if you beta buff a toon to 60, the AA XP from the 60 dings earns you 20 AAs. Thats enough to take 1 branch into the 4th tier.
