i need help getting a pet im a lvl 12 druid. i know i cant get one from lvling so i waz hoping that someone could get me one and i would love them forever. lol! but i do need a pet so... if you can help let me no.

what r u asking for? if u mean a pet that follows u around and fights with u, srry to say but u cant cause thats for hunters only when they hit lvl 10 from the hunter trainer.

if u mean a mechanical pet that fights for u ur way out of uck cause theyre for engineers with very high lvl

if ur talkin bout a little bird or snake or cat that follows u around for shits and giggles u can get them at the AH or buy them from the vendors as listed below

snakes- u buy frm a snake vendor in orgrimmar

birds- like senegals (parrots) in booty bay

cats- closest place to get cats i believe is in tanaris in the camp (dont remember the name right now) theres a AH where alliance sells them there for 10g a piece

but theire a waste of money i have one, but still a waste of money.

u could get a engineer ( i think) to make u a pointless pet but im not sure if u need to be a certain lvl engineer to have them

so the best bet for u gettin a pet is a snake from orgrimmar they dont do anything but follow u around and theyre small and they cost money for how lame they r, so i dont think it would be wise for u to get one right now.

Theres also the "Wierd Cat Lady" outside of Stormwind that sells cats.

Pets are for hunters, other than that lvl 200-250 engineers can make dragons that fight for 1 minute. 60 sec cooldown.

Yeah, but it only lasts 1 minute and it's a robotic dragon. Much smaller then you'd think. Also there's a level requirement on it.

the funniest pet is a 20 sec only off (Gnomish Mind Control Cap) Ha Ha! That 60 mage w/ the lowbies thought easy kill, only to find he killed his friends! It sometimes backfire (1/7 times imo) and doesnt work sometimes at all (i've only seen this once)

I can't think of anymore atm, some are tradeable, some aren't, some are vendored, some are rare.. some from engineering.. la la la =)

Whelps sell for a LOT of money on my server. My friend got 2 in one day. And whelps drop in Lakeshire offa the dragons there.

Yeah, if you are looking for some quick cash, you can look at what mobs drop some of the more rare pets, and go farm them for it. On most servers, the rarer pets will sell for a good bit of gold. And if u get more than one, you can keep one for yourself!

Of course, being a hunter, I get to make fun of your pet. But it's all in good fun.

hunters have active pets. Anyone can get a non-attacking pet from a drop or the auctionhouse.

ya can also get a chicken go to the farm in westfall east of sentinal hill make a macro that spams /chicken target a chicken and use the macro till you can talk to the chicken. then accept his quest talk to the merchant then buy the chicken feed give it to the checken he drops an egg pick ity up, free chicken or you can get a bunny in Dun morough.
