What's the best way to sell an account? : FFXI General Discussions

We know that sites like IGE is a pure rip off on account value.

The auction site here seems to lack hits, and playerauctions idk about. I don't see many accounts listed there. Do they move fast or just don't sell?

As far as I know, ebay is a no go on selling accounts right? Is there any way around it if I sold my copy of FF+ expansions and threw in the account for the right price? Stressing the buyer is purchasing a game, but getting a free character should the game sell for the right price.

Any thoughts? Deleting the character is not an option I'd like to use.

Wait just a little while longer for our new updated site to be out. This one should have what you want :).

if I know how online games go when new expansion packs come out, for the first few weeks your account may be worth a lot more money than it is now. People coming back for the exp pack that don't want to start over  depends on how long you can wait for the money and still a possibility that it will drop much in value by that date anyways.

up to you ^^

and people who bounce credit cards and steal the account. my friend sold his WoW account to a guy for six hundred dollars, and the guys credit card bounced, luckily with WoW blizzard made it very easy to get the account back....with FFXI however...if the person changes the billing info, you cannot EVER get ur account back, no matter what Cd keys/info u have.

sell to your friends, or someone u know

Yeah, I guess, but that place sucks. There are like no auctions going on ever. I think he was talking about something new that is in the works.

We have the new tu store that will allow selling items as well. That will be released as soon as we can get the new xu out with some services for games.

If you send the goods before you've got a confirmed payment, you really have no-one to blame bar yourself.
