5 day ban for an unknown reason : FFXI General Discussions

So heres what happened to me Sunday. Me and a friend were camping O. Kote nm on saturday night through like 4 A.M. sunday mornin, was there for 6ish hours, just us and some gil sellers. Only thing i was using was NPC, and wildrabbit, no fleetool or pos warp. But anyways, after both NMs have popped a couple of times we both decided to go to sleep, so i left my char logged on in my mog house like i normally do on the weekends. I wake up Sunday morning look over at my screen and what do i see? Suspended account, not in jail, not tells from a GM, kicked off the server and suspended. So i had to wait till Monday to call PoL, they want tell me ANYTHING cept that i can return Thursday. This surprised me alot, especially since they couldnt tell me why i got in trouble. But my point is, 5 days? and getting kicked w/o talking to a GM? When i got in trouble for pos/mrargus mining in moval, on a seperate PoL account, i only got 3 days....so i gotta wait till tomorrow to find out why they raided my MH while i was asleep. But anyways figured i would share that with everyone.

gm's can suspend you without proof so im guessing that it was a random banning because someone saw you camping and said that you may have been botting

if you contact them and they don't have proof, almost everytime they will release you. I've been in jail 4 times now and only once was suspended -- and that was being I was being an !@#$%^&* to the GM probably. I don't like being accused of something I didn't do so I told them off when they said I was lieing. The other three times was because I was reported as using third pt programs ... wtf, other than windower I rarely use anything else. and I never use them when other people are in the area ... let alone camping a huge money NM. If you are reported by someone being an !@#$%^&*, and they have no proof on you they will most likely let you go.

People on my server are getting to be idiots and calling GM's on anyone camping against them, reporting them as botting. I swear GM's are gil sellers friends because they are the only ones not getting banded. It's pretty damn obvious camping Simurgh when out of the 20 people there, the people in the same LS (about 10 of them) all warp straight to simmy when he pops. I bet you if I did that, they would call on me and instant ban.

I have heard so many bad stories about people getting caught without doing anything around that NM...
I'll never ever camp that thing -.- those gilsellers probably are friends with GM.
