Aren't mages the best PvPer's? : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Ok I might have it wrong but I though a full stacked mage could beat nearly any full stacked class (not including when a rogue gets the jump on you >.<). So have I got it terribly wrong?

Yes, any class can beat any other class if played right. I mean warlocks can pown all if you're really good at them.

My mage has "O.K." things and i WROCK the socks off priests and locks and any other class cept rogues but i just arcane explode till they pop then frost nova then blink then bandage then arcan missle to death and i win.

that would never work on me lol. You'd be dead b4 u knew what hit you. Ambush -> 1600 dmg backstab ->1300 dmg cold blood + eviscerate -> 2000 dmg. All within a second or two. And if by slight chance you frost nova and blink away, ill just vanish, and repeat and you still die.


And btw mages r definitely not the best PvP class. Warriors are by far the best PvP class.

Only for large scale.

in my usual dueling with mages (i don´t pvp a lot) unless mage can get to my position (im a hunter) in no time the mage is dead. My pet has resistance to cold and improved stamina, so it is a real pain in the !@#$%^&* for mages. If i have distance, my autoshot/aimed/autoshot/multishot/ kills in no time (as explained in the Submit exploit section).

Warlocks and warriors with their charge are my real pain.

are hunters good at PvP or are they at a disadvantige

I'm talking about attacking a lvl 60 mage. Not some nub that doesnt give me honor lol.

yes i am super nub, i beta test the game in closed beta the first day... when mages had vanish ok yes im a nub

Paladins are by far the best PvP characters. They have huge armor tons of HP's and as long as your Holy/Ret spec and not full Ret or full Prot you do decent damage, so your hard to kill and you stab real good.

Trinket mages are the only "omgwtfhappened?" mages. By trinket mage I mean spec'd to arcane power equipped with zandalarian hero charm and talisman of ephimeral power. They pop all 3 of those on and 1-2 shot people.

I've switched from a 38 mage to 30ish warlock!
