Yeah the girl died and her guild held a funeral, a GM didn't log on, her friend logged on.

What is messed up is that they bragged about it on the forums, saying she died because she needed to l2p and stuff, it was really !@#$%^&* up of those people to do that in the first place, but then to BRAG and make fun of the girl who died, that is just low, even for some of us

Although it is outrageous that she died after playing WoW for several days I see it as immature and disrespective to crash her funeral like that. A funeral is a sacred thing even if it is in a game.

Late post but the funny thing of all is that they said a GM logged into her account, If it was a real gm he could have logged in and spawned anything to get rid of them. He could have even zoned then somewhere else. But thenn it was clearified that it was someone else.

The same type of thing happend when 2 employees of blizzard got married. It was an in-game wedding too and everyone gave them gold and wrapped presents (with the xmas paper) and some other stuff. Well, horde heard about it and staged a raid on it.

It was 4 guilds consisting of more then 150 ppl. Needless to say it was a total wipe and the wedding wen on as planned. They had a few GM watching their back.

THis has happned a few times. A guy in Korea died from haert failure by not eating and sleeping for 4 days while playing wow.

i really didnt think it was all that funny to tell u the truth i thought it was just plain stupid having a funneral for somebody that died in real life and have a funneral ingame
