ive seen this in parties, being a bard i have to say i love my monks and war/nins. id take a monk over a dark , even ranger with out hesitating. only because of my buffs, ALSO, being monk you have access to bone parties , with us hawt bards. galka monk with AF2 = sick, insane hp . and everyone seems to be saying elvaan have more strength later. how later.. as in 75 later? i would rather have a galka with 5 or more less strength but doesnt miss every swing than an elvaan who swings at air. personal choice only because of the players ive partied with. im sure someone will say but if you use squid sushi + 1 and peacock charm and snipers +1 you'll never miss and own the galka! Not much i can say to that. other than happy farming?

im giving you a summed up total of requests of songs due to races

elvaan ALWAYS ask (reguardless of gear) : Minuet + madrigal please
ALL other races (especially the galka i've been with) : Dual minuet please.

only important part to read is the bottom, song request reflect race / equip

too bad the best part about mnk endgame is chiblast, and elv have the highest mnd of any class.

ELV > galka in every way

if elvaan do have a few extra stat bonuses by the time they're 75 its because they NEED it to fix there horrible, HORRRRIBLE, accuracy

Ehhh mnk is usually>drk however..drks have more potential than mnks...but you gotta be totally fkin pimped out as a drk to reach this potential. so..if you have 300m+ sittin in ur wallet roll w/ drk if not..yeh mnk is tight ^^

Well as far as end game goes, they are really both in pretty high demand. A drk/thf is a hell of a combo for setting hate to a nin tank for god fights, not to mention every drk you have frees a blm from the stun order.

A properly geard mnk/whm of any race will chi blast, at best, a bit over 1500 every 3 min. While Elvaan do have higher base mnd, other races tend to have access to way better mnd gear via RSE. In the end I think there is a limit on how much chi blast can do as I have never seen it break the 1500 mark by very much, but I ahve seen 1500 from elvaan, hume, and taru.

don't go for DRK, I feel sorry for whoever fancy being a DRK because they were given a cheap deal, 2hr serves no PT purpose and not so good for soloing either. They tend to stack too much hate when they stack last resort with souleater and WS. Though they got a passive ability "Attack bonus" but damn you don't feel it kicking in XD.. they are always out damage in most cases and especially when it comes to dps by mnk, drg and sam.. the only thing I see cool about them is stun, drain, aspir, absorbs and weapon bash. Though they have WS that opens distoration and close it, MNK's that don't either ways till lvl 60 when they get Howling Fist will get more PT invites b/c DRK are very weak and generate hate if they try to use last resort or souleater, in Ballista they are my favorable target to chase after they are the easiest class to kill then comes DRG after them..

im gona go with MNK cuz i love the job almost as much as i love thf....and as EVERYONE knows i love thf...YEH THATS RIGHT U ALL KNO *smiley face*...thats alot

never finished the game tho but id still say a DRK could be over powered by a mnk my own oppinion dnt take it personally

drk have some really good weapons that make anything possible.

Monk is by far better then dark at end game since they can wear god gear and are better for god fights for damage. You will get more items to use and will have more fun.
