Chocobo Raising : FFXI General Discussions

i'm sorry for asking, but i dont really ahve time to read through all the posts about Chocobo Raising, so i have a few questions. is the chocobo raising patch out already? and if it is, how do you get a pet chocobo? i heard you ahve to get an egg, where do i get one? thanks

It comes out August 22, they put back its release to do more testing on it.
