Engineering for PvP : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Alright well I'm level 300 gnomish engineering but I wondered what you all thought was better. Gnomish engineering or goblin. From my understanding Gnomish is more items that are useful in lots of situations but often backfire/fail and Goblin is bombs that always work. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

So which one do you think is more useful for PvP?

Im not sure, guess it all depends if you want reliablility vs versitility. It all depends on your play style.

Yeah with the net-o-matic It doesn't really matter if it fails or possibly backfires since I only use those things when it's all or nothing anyways.

Of course last time I had a foot race I tried to win via rocket boots but they went hay-wire and i lost.

Is it a 50% chance that it would work? If it could determine the game and it has to be reliable, i would go goblin, but if you like the creativity with gnomish, stick with that.

Yeah I like all the combinations with all the engineering items. Like I can mc them and run them far away then dispel that and net em and lots of stuff

I would stick with gnomish just because your 300, that way you can concentrate on pvping instead of leveling engineering.

Yeah I wasn't really planning on changing. Lots of the time people are going to be spread in PvP too.

id say goblin since most people who go engi for PVP do it for the bombs

id have to say gnomish just cuz there so many different things you can use.

goblin for pvp, i agree with ekreloff alot of things can be useful out of gnomish but they backfire/dont work alot of times
