Hunter guide kiting drak : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Hi guys,

I dont play as a hunter but i do go ona lot of ubrs raids. Some tiems i get hunters that are very experianced in kiting drak and some that are not.

Can a experiance hunter type up something here on how a hunter should kite him. So that way if I get a unb experianced hunter again in my raid group I can walk him through how to kite him.

I know the stragedy of taking down drak just dont know the names of spells and things a hunter should do to hold the agro so it gives my tanks time to take down atleast one of draks guards before drak comes back in the room.

This is the strategy I use, but you must clear everything between The Beast and Drakkisath:

Hunter stands as close to the gate to the drakki room as possible, he performs (for example Serpent Sting **RANK1**) Don't waste mana on kiting! He runs to the gate (with aspect of the cheetah) and turns around to shoot again. Now he goes to the area with multiple mobs that are dead now, he turns around again and shoots. Now he enters the beast room (watch out for the fire, you don't want to be dazed) go to the far end and feign death. This should give your group enough time to handle the 2 drakki guards.

Dont use serpent sting, use distracting shot. That is what it is for. All you have to do is distracting shot, and start runing with aspect of the cheetah to the beasts room when you get the far back corner feign. Turn to distracting shot everytime its up. Pretty much the same, but use distracting shot and nothing else.

If you use distracting shot you get more aggro, and the more aggro you have the higher the chance that feign death will be resisted
