Making Gold In Crystalvein Mine : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Alright, ive known abut this one spot in Stranglethorn Vale for a while now, and since ive used alot of guides from here, i decided to make one to hopefuly give back as much as i can =)

A few things to have before trying this is,

-at least 255 skinning
- Be a mage, Warrior or Hunter at or above level 43
-Big bags =)

OK so in Stranglethorn, by the Garubashi arena is Crystalvein mine. Inside are many Ironjaw Basilisks (lvl 43-44).Almost everytime they will drop grey items, wich are...

-Large Basalisk Tail
-Basalisk Heart
-Wicked Claw
-Squishy Basalisk Eye

They skin into...

-Thick leather
-Heavy Leather
-Thick Hide
-Heavy Hide

Once inside the cave, head down the path to the left, it should curve around to the right and open up into a larger room.

In the first room are 4 Basalisks, don't worry about agroing more than one at a time, its almost impossible to do that unless you run around and do it on purpose.

Heading forward, you will come to another curve, wich will have 3 more basalisks, this curve opens into another bigger room that has around 8 Basalisks total, kill and skin them any way you want, and head up the path wich should lead you back to where you started.

When im at the cave i usually go around about 20 times, making about 30- 50g, it realy depends on how fast you can kill, how many times you go around, and if you have skinning or not.

Occasionaly there will be a rare spawn named "Scale Belly" he is big and orange and is always level 45. 65% of the time he drops these green legs that sell for almost 2g to a vendor.

Nice and well detailed guide, however this should be editted
"at least 255 skinning" The minimum skinning level for a mob is:
<mob> * 5 = <required> so a level 43 would be
43 * 5 = 215. Other then that very nice guide =).
