I'm getting server reset, when ever i try to download anything. iam on dial up....

are you getting any of the files at all or is it stopping before it even starts caching it?

Try d/l a small one and see if it goes through .. and you are d/l from this site correct?

Also check your firewall/AV settings, try turning them both off whilst you d/l, (make sure you turn them back on after).

Have you tried d/l files from different websites?

I was having the same issue on my mom's computer, she only has dialup. My solution was to take her computer down to the truck stop and pay 5 bucks for their broadband, you could try that or go to a friends house that has broadband. After you download all your updates you should be fine on dialup till they have another big patch, wash, rinse, repeat.
