invincible bug? : Star Wars Galaxies Discussions

I am a elder jedi..I was buffed while I was fighting a medic who was also buffed. the medic was taking damage but his life bar barely moved. He did not heal once..while i had to run and re-heal 3x..

I cant imagine that his agility was so high as to glance my blows because I checked thae log and I was hitting him hard...weird.

Its called Stasis. You take no damage, you do no damage and it snares you.

but i reviewed the log and did not see it

Well you were fighting a medic so it was Stasis. There is 2 Stasis, Stasis Area (Self) and Stasis Area. I don't know if the Stasis Area (Self) shows on combat log so it was probally that.

i dont think this is stasis as i have had this with my commando as well. and in stasis DOTs still tick down damage. An Elder jedi should not have to run away and heal 3 times against a medic who stasised themselves. They would do no damage (or almost none) and would take very little damage. plus, to run 3 times would be over a minute while stasis lasts much less than that. The combat log also shows glancing blows and very little damage attacks while a medic is in stasis. This was either the person being bugged or an exploit of some kind.

hmmm, that is interesting that doesnt happen much to me, and i am a medic, it is a 5 minute cooldown, and it does show up on combat log, so i think it is a exploit, or the person got REALLY REALLY REALLY lucky, but then again glancing blow would show up, so my guess is an exploit, but swg would pick it up, because of the safeguards in the system. Eather way, this is defenatly sumthing we need to figure out

I dont think its a big mystery... i just think it was a bug or something and it didnt show up right on screen. its probably just a mix up theres no such thing as an invincible cheat. i hope not, i dont wanna go up against some one invincible... great now you guys got me scared to pvp nice going lol!
