Why did you start playing Lineage 2?

I had been playing Diablo II for quite some time with my ex-bf, his brother and his brothers gf.. we were on the search for a new game. We knew that WoW was going to be coming out but still wanted to find something to hold us over in the meantime. We tried Dungeon Seige and wasn't really impressed with it. Then we tried L2...and it had everything. Granted my first 3 minutes of playing I was pked hah. I've tried WoW since playing this and it just doesn't compare.
