How does it work?

How does it work when a new game comes out and someone wants a bot? I mean is there some process that is used to determine what needs to be built and or a set of standards?

What if I had a game to do and I needed someone to automate some of the testing by using these bots.... is that possible?

1. Person with programming knowledge decides to play the game.

2. He/she decides to write a bot.

3. He/she decides to be nice and grace the community with their work.

It all comes down to chance I suppose.

It's a new one in production but I have an idea of using a bot to do some testing really. Automation is key, but since I am not a scripter I was thinking of hitting the community t possibly find one :D

At the moment I am not at liberty to go into the game specifics... but it is a new mmo that has been announced

I want a bot that can plow through content really... what makes scripting this easy?
