L2 - Hot or Not: Creativity : Lineage 2 General Discussions

Creating a world from scratch is quite an arduous task. You have to create cities and towns, and political histories. You have to give a reason for things to exist (commonly called backstory), and you have to name all those NPCs that you stick around the world.

As some people have pointed out, certain names within the world of Aden reference outside sources. Do you think NCSoft is paying tribute, or are they simply lacking in creativity?
