NCSoft Announces Lineage 2’s Newest Expansion:
Chaotic Throne 1: The Kamael
"This is the largest free expansion in Lineage 2 history: size wise and content wise." notes Tim Tan, Producer of Lineage 2.

A new race, new geographical areas including the Isle of the Souls, and fortress battles highlight the main attractions of the CT1 update. In line with a vision to make their game more user friendly and easier for the new player to get in and get started, several changes with respect to item stats in chat and starter quests (which equip new players with needed armor and weapons) has been implemented.

Coupled with the “newbie helper buffs” added in previous content additions, Lineage 2 is hitting the mark in making the new player feel more at home.
