Making money by taking advantage of the lvl 60 paladin quest : World of Warcraft General Discussions

On some servers, you will be able to take advantage of the
paladins, wanting to complete the mount quest. It is fairly easy,
and does not require much.

There are a lot of choices to make here.
Could i get you to /yay or /nay it please.

Arcanite Bars (150G)

[Arcanite Bar] x 6. Sells very nicely. On some servers up to
about 100-150G for a stack of six.
Yes i know... You can only make one pr. day.
But if you can get the mats to make these and pay some guy
5-6g to make the bar for you, it will go fast. I think i have made
about 300g for about 30 mins of my time plus AH-time.

Azerothian Diamond (8g+)

This diamond is fairly easy to come by. But controlling the market
for this can bring in some money as well.

Buy low sell high is a good combination when trying to come up
with some money for the arcanite transmutes.

When aimed for paladins this item should be sold in stacks of 1.

Think, in the same time space while asking around for someone to
make me the bars i sold about 3 for 8g ea.

Runecloth (20% Increase)

Again, this item is very easy to come by, but look later on the
page for more detail on how to make about +20% on this.

Arthas' Tears (13g)

Another item that will make you money by aiming for paladins is
this. Normally this item turns up on AH for about 20G pr. stacks.
When wanting to make money on this item, you might want to buy
anything below 18g, and resell for about 12-13g for a stack of 10.

This can change in price from server to server, but you see the
pattern right?

Pristine Black Diamond (150G)

This item is the omen of clarity for your wallet.
Control the market on this baby, and you will make it to the top.
First off, this item can be farmed at about 2% drop rate
(from elites) if I remember correctly. So you will have a fairly
easy time controlling this market. A lot of player will start
trying to get the market from you as soon as they find out the
profit.

Buy all and sell 1 at a time. This will make players think that the
price is a fake and sell it to the normal server price.
This is where you get the gems for a fairly low price.

I've managed to sell about 8 or 9 i think, for about
140-150g by controlling the market. I made enough for my 60 mount
with this. So that would be just about 1300g in about a week.
Checking the AH two times a day.

Combinations. (250g)

If you manage to get all the items for the paladin quest, start
advertising on the trade channel as well.
When selling it all at once you can set the price at about +20-30%
of what you will normally get on the AH. But a downside is that you
will not be able to sell the items for around the same amount as
when you control the market, remember this.
But if you do not control a market this is a good choice.

I would say that a combination-pack would sell for about 200-250g

My max is about 300g.

I hope you can use this to find a tactic that makes YOU rich.
The prices will perhaps not suit the prices on your AH.
Maybe a bit higher or lower. But the numbers aren’t as important
as the person using them.

Did you mean you sold all for 150g or 1 for 150 :O
and got abit confused when i didnt see anything about Runecloth ( the 20% increase sale )
Mabye you ment in the "combo" pack?

If you controle the market Pristine Black Diamond can go for 150g for one. I also sell 6 arcanite bars for about that price.

The 20% on runecloth is for the combopack, yes.

It will take about a week or so before ppl start accepting a normal market attack. But in this case, some of the buyers are paladins (Pristine Black Diamond ) therefore it will be easier to sell them, cuz they dont want to wait to get the epic.

As i said some of the guide's tricks does not work on all servers. But test it out, and see what happens.

3g for pristines on my server, ppl know better... only the arcanite has any value, but this should work for some servers

Depends on the server, probably wouldnt work for most servers, especially considering theres already tons of merchanters
