DAOC - Hot Fix Notes : DAOC News

We have some hot fixes for you today:


- Thanes will once again be awarded the ability to utilize Large Shields at level 10. This fixes an issue where any new Thanes would not receive the Large Shield ability upon hitting level 10. Note: This doesn’t fix any Thanes created and leveled past level 10 since the last hotfix that are missing the Large Shield ability. A fix for those characters will be forthcoming.



- The bounty quest for Shiny Shells available in the Tutorial zones can now be completed by players up to level 10. This increases the level limit to allow more characters time to gather shells for the bounty quest before it becomes ineligible.



- [Dye Another Day] – This quest is now given and completed by the NPC Maidh.



- The Armor Redemption Token item given at the end of the some of the higher level content in the tutorial zone, now has information on it regarding how and who to turn the token into for a reward.
