Some Macros have a built in feature that when the miners are under certain kinds of attacks, namely from warp scramblers they assume its form a player and they attempt to flee. One of the best and amusing ways to find these kind of macroers are to put out a jetcan and rename it You. Then target your suspected macrominer and your can. Once they are both locked warpscramble your can. The words So and SO has started to warpscramble You will appear on their screen. It also makes new players who have never seen this pee themselves and sometimes you can draw them into attacking. its hialrious when they are crying in local that you fired on them so why isnt concord killing you instead of them.

lol now this is funny. it is well known but it is a nice thing to do but more than likely the "isk farmers" NOT MACRO miners will not buy in to it
they are not stupid. and most noobs that fall for that trick will be too scared to attack back

1. You assume that the miner is a macro miner and that it has that program which hawkpryde34 described, which it most likely wont be since there are a fair amount of bots availble for eve.

2. I'm anti bot killing >: ( lol

It would be more interesting if the topic starter talked about how to "have fun" with regular miners. However he talked about a certain macro mining program and looking for a miner with that program and then getting this thing to work would take way to long, imo.

lol, aren't most people here for the copious supply of macros? Why would we want to mess with the other macro-ers. Farmers are one thing, but us macro-ers should be looking out for one another.

Plus, like antareus said, the whole point of a macro is so that you don't have to be at your computer and read the screen.

Although, I really like the idea of f***ing with some newbies this way... I want to see if one of them would actually freak out if they saw I was jamming "You". Heh heh.

Nay as an exploit or cheat, but yay as a fun thing to mess with newbs.
