do i need visual basic to make a script :(

No, VBScript is just a text file formatted in VBScript.

I just replied to another post with a demo script.

You can get other demo scripts from the scripting dicsussion threads, or from microsoft.com for general scripting commands. VBScript is a widely known scripting language.
