or is there other rings i could use instead b/c on Asura they are almost 1 mil gil each! thanks for the reassurance b/c war/nin isn't that popular ( at least for me anyways, i'm stuck @ 54 and have been for a few weeks now)

Thf is often underrated, but i think it is one of the best. of course you have to have a good party for one, which sometimes is a drawback. I have a 51 thf right now and i consistently out damage all other classes, with the exception of a blm casting freeze or a rng.

I think monk(level 70+) is a good DD especially towards the higher lvls when you have no choice but to start chaining very tough. Ranger seems to be one of the best when you are fighting incredibly tough monsters though
