Any working speed hacks? (not worried about ban-ability etc) : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

I made it clear accross nek in under 30 seconds I'd say, and thats including going so fast I had to stop for my computer to catch up...haha. I like running at +5 to have a little bit of a boost, I can almost keep up with someone on a horse with it, with +15 I go about as fast as I do sprinting, 30+ its obvious that your doing something. Clearing Nek in a few seconds at level 21 -- clear sign you might be using a '3rd party program'....keke

by cleared nek do you mean all the way from WAYYY up top near the giants and living statues? thats insane if you mean all the way up there. you must be running so fast that even a GM would never believe you were hacking

It depends entirely on how it works though.

I use several settings of the EQ2 Speedhack 2.7.

8 - in group and I want that extra bit of edge without being suspicious
20 - in group while sneaking. Someone in group thought I must be using an advanced sneak called "Hunt"
35-50 around town, solo, in sneak mode
100-150 around an outdoor zone, away from people, in sneak mode
200 To cross zones in mere seconds, or to swim incredibly fast, sneak mode

Note: if you are in a group in an outdoor zone with a map, other group members will be able to see that you're moving alot faster than you should be. If so caught, just offer to email them "something" don't say what, in EQ chat, as the GM's can monitor everything like the NSA. Then send them the program. That way, they will be less likely to rat you out if they are also "in on it." Make lots of friends, and never enemies, because the people you piss off are the people that will turn you in for exploiting.

I should mention that it's not just outdoor zones that they can see your icon in. If they have the maps UI addon (maps.eq2interface.com), they will be able to see you moving faster than you should be. I would suggest limiting the speedhack to 8 or thereabouts in a group, as you can play it off fairly easily.

Hey, check the post, I put up an updated 2.8, it also has a switch for if you are using the test server.
